Peptide Storage and Handling Guidelines

Limitless BiotechNov 16th 2024

Storage Guidelines

  • Reconstituted Peptides: Store at 2°C to 8°C (36°F to 46°F) in refrigeration. Do not freeze, as freezing may degrade the peptide structure. Under these conditions, reconstituted peptides maintain over 90%
potency for 3–6 months, depending on molecular complexity.

  • Non-reconstituted Peptides: Store in a cool, dry environment away from light and moisture. For optimal stability, temperatures below 25°C (77°F) are recommended. Freezer storage is optimal.
Dry peptides retain above 90% purity for 12-24 months under these conditions.

  • Raw Powder Molecules/Capsules: Store at room temperature in a dry, sealed container, away from heat, light, and humidity. When stored properly, raw powder molecules can remain stable for
    up to two years.

Important Notes:

  • Liquid components, such as deionized water or reconstitution solutions, must not be frozen, as freezing can compromise stability.

  • If products are left outside of the recommended storage conditions for a short period, they are unlikely to be significantly affected. However, prolonged exposure to heat, light, or humidity should be avoided to maintain integrity.

Instructions for Mixing Peptides with Accompanying Sprayers

Instructions for spray kit variants:

Contents:

  • (1) Labeled, empty sprayer

  • (1) 10mL or 5mL sterile vial of deionized water

  • (1) Vial of peptide

  • (1) Blunt Tip Syringe

Preparation:

  1. Remove the colored lid from the peptide vial.

  2. Remove the seal and unscrew the nozzle from the sprayer.

  3. Remove the white cap from the deionized water vial.

Transferring Liquid:

  1. Use a sterile syringe to draw 3mL of deionized water.

  2. Inject the water into the peptide vial, ensuring the liquid evenly coats the vial's interior.

Mixing:

  1. Gently swirl or shake the vial until the peptide vial is fully dissolved.

Refilling the Sprayer:

  1. Use the syringe to draw the mixed solution from the vial.

  2. Transfer the solution into the sprayer.

  3. Add any remaining deionized water to the sprayer.

  4. Screw the sprayer top on tightly and shake thoroughly.

Difficulty extracting product from vials?

Our lyophilized products are vacuum-sealed for quality assurance. To access the product, it may be necessary to inject at least 2 full 1ml syringes of air into the vial to break this seal effectively. Not all vacuum seals feel the same — some may seem lighter or less noticeable than others. This variation is completely normal and does not affect the integrity of the product.
